Bharti Airtel (India) posted a net profit up 48% to €130m on revenues of €663m.

Telefonica Moviles reports a 1H06 net profit of €1.1bn (up 13%), on revenues of €8.8bn, up 13%. Revenues in Spain rose 3% to €4.4bn. OIBDA grew 12.4% to €2.9bn. Telefonica Moviles will be delisted next month, following its integration back in Telefonica.

Telefonica posts €1.3bn in profit in 2Q06, up 41%, with revenues jumping 47% to €13.2bn (with the addition of O2 and Cesky Telecom).OIBDA increased 45% to €4.6bn. The Sapnish fixed line unit reported revenues of €3bn, up 0.3%. Latin American fixed-line unit saw a 17% jump in sales.

Telecom Italia announced a rise of 5.6% in revenues to € 15.3bn, EBITDA rising 0.5% to €6.5bn. Growth is mainly driven by its Brazilian unit with a rate of 15% this quarter, compared with 1.1% in Italy. The group, however, has decided to sell its stake in Brasil Telecom. TIM Brasil will remain untouched.

Bellsouth reported a 15% rise in earnings to $1.1bn.

DTAC (Thailand) has increased its 2Q06 profit by 11% to $32m. Service revenue rose 8% to $300m and EBITDA rose 6% to $60m.

France Telecom reports a rise of 9.3% to €25.9bn in revenues, fueled by the integration of Spanish Amena. Without Amena, growth is only 1.4%.

BT saw its revenues rising 3% to €7.14bn, driven by revenues in New Wave offsetting the decline in traditional revenue which was 4%. BT Global Services revenues grew 4% to €3.2bn. Net profit rose 24% to €682m.

Millicom announced 2Q06 revenues are up 39% to $362m, EBITDA grew 28% to $157m and net profit jumped 580% to $34m.

TPSA (Poland) reports 2Q06 net profit of €153m, up 25%, on revenues of €1.24bn (+1%).

Mobistar (Belgium) posts a 9% rise in 1H06 net profit to €148 as total revenue grew 7.7% to €772m.

ATT said its 2Q06 profit rose 81% to $1.8bn as revenues rose 53% to $ 15.8bn. Revenue at Cingular rose 7% to $9.2bn.

Vodafone reported 6.4% organic growth in mobile revenues for 2Q06 and is in line to achieve between 5% and 6.5% growth for 2006.

MTC reports 1H06 revenues up 121% to $1.7bn (non proforma) and a net profit of $478m.

SFR (France) saw its first-half revenues growing 1.5% to €4.3bn.
