Iliad/ Free (France) reports solid 2007 results with net profit of €150m (up24%) on revenues up 30% to €1.2bn. EBITDA jumped 35% to €444m. ARPU increased 5% to €36.3.

Neuf Cegetel (France) also announced solid 2007 results with revenues of €3.3bn, up 16%. EBITDA rose 32% to €720m, while net profit rose 23% to €262m. The Consumer unit reports €1.4bn in sales, now accounting for 47% of total business. ARPU is worth €36. The Enterprise unit accounted for €1bn in sales, up 7%. The Carrier unit reported €870m, down 17%, due to consolidation in the wholesale market and the acquisition of ISPs that were Neuf Cegetel customers.

Alice (Telecom Italia in France) reports €606m in 2007 revenues (+27%) with €78m gross profit.

Orascom Telecom (Egypt) announced 2007 results with net income of $2bn on revenues of $4.7bn (+22%) and an EBITDA of $2bn, up 20%. Orascom Telecom operates in Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Zimbabwe.

ZAIN said its 2007 revenues rose 32% to $5.9bn with EBITDA grew 25% to $3.3bn.

Vimpelcom (Russia) reports 4Q07 net profit of $368m (+86%) on revenues of $2bn (+38%) and IOBDA of $918m, up 33%. 2007 net income was $1.45bn on revenues of $7.2bn.

Proximus (Belgium) said its mobile service revenues were down 4% to €2bn while OIBDA was down 9% to €912m.
