Sprint Nextel reports a loss of 300k+ postpaid iDEN subscribers in 4Q06, almost doubling on 3Q06 figure, and impacting 2006 financials. In spite of announcement of postpaid customer base will grow again in 2007, as well as churn could go under 2%, the stock received several downgrades from investors. It expects to post consolidated operating revenues of around $41bn, OIBDA of about $12.7bn and capex of about $7.2bn for the full-year 2006.

Chunghwa Telecom reports a 0.6% rise to $5.6bn in sales in 2006, while profit rose 3.3% to $502m.
