Verisign reported $374m in revenues (down 4%) with earnings of $16m, down 68%.

SFR (France) reports 2.9% increase in 1Q06 proforma revenues to $2.6bn.

Teliasonera (Sweden) posts $489m in 1Q06 net profit (+16%) on sales increasing 6% to $2.9bn. EBITDA rose 13% to $1bn.

KDDI (Japan) announced 1Q06 net profit of $277m, down 30%, on revenues of $7.1bn, up 14%. Full fiscal year net profit fell 5% to $1.6bn on revenues of $26bn, up 5%.

ATT reports strong 1Q06 results. Net income was $1,45bn on sales of $15.8bn. It was the first reported period with combined results from SBC and ATT.

Level 3 (US) reported $168m net loss on $1.3bn revenues.

PTCL (Pakistan) posted 9mo results with net profit of $254m, down 28%, on revenues down 11% to $852m.

China Netcom announced $2.7bn in revenues, up 5%,
