HP will slash 25,000 jobs as the merger with EDS proceeds. Most of the jobs would be in the USA.

Ericsson plans to cut 200 jobs in Spain, as part of the saving costs program targeting 4000 jobs losses.

Telefonica plans to lay off 700 people as part of mobile division's restructuring plan.

Ed Hagenlocker and Jean-Pierre Halbron have resigned from ALU' s Board of directors.

John Feehan, CFO of Virgin Mobile USA, will quit the company in mid-Nov.
