Maxis (Malaysia) reports 2005 net profit of $450m, up 4.5%, and an EBITDA of $951m up 10%.

MTC (Kuwait) announced record 2005 profits of $637m (+55%)on revenues of $2bn (+80%).

Belgacom (Belgium) posted 4% growth rate in 2005 net earnings at €959m, while sales increased 3.6% to €5.7bn. EBITDA fell 13% to €2.1bn. Belgacom confirmed that French Neuf Cegetel could be a potential target for it.

CANTV (Venezuela) saw its 2005 net earnings falling 50% to $100m, but has set aside $356m to pay for pension obligation. 4Q05 mobile revenues jumped 88% to $315m; broadband revenues soared 100% to $39m; and fixed line revenues rose 17% to $1.4bn

StarHub (Singapore) posted a 4Q05 net profit of $44m (vs loss) on revenues of $ 247m, up 15%. Full year net income was $132m, vs a loss of $32.5m.

Telefonica Argentina registered a net profit of $248m (vs loss in 2004);

Tele Sudeste Celular (Brazil) reported 2005 revenues of $925m (+8%), EBITDA of $229m (down 3%), and a net income of $49m (up 19%).

Celular CRT (Brazil) posted 2005 revenues of $526m (c.a. flat), EBITDA of $169m (down 11%), and a net income of $57.5m (down 29%).

Tele Leste Celular ( Brazil) announced 2005 revenues of $250m (up 15%), EBITDA of $40m (down 17%), and a net loss of $41m (down 369%).

Tele Centro Oeste Celular (Brazil) announced 2005 revenues of $1bn (up 2.5%), EBITDA of $289m (down 27%), and a net income of $151m (down 33%).
