French market

According to the French regulator (ARCEP), the telecom capex has grow in 2005 by 15% to €6.5bn, the first growth since the telecom burst in 2001. In 2005, telecom services reached €40bn (+2.4%), drawn by broadband and mobile. Fixed-line revenues have dropped about 5%, in spite of broadband growth (about 10m broadband users). Unbundling is quite dynamic with some 2.8m unbundled lines (of which 600k totally unbundled). There are 48.6m mobile users (+8%) generating over €16bn in revenues.
