Philippines: PLDT is adding 1000 new DSL subscribers per week. It targets 80,000 connections by end 2005. Smart added  4.5m cellular subscribers in 2004, while PilTel added 1.7m.

Mobifon  (Romania) currently has 4.9m mobile users and 48% market share in Romania.

Oskar (Czech Rep.) currently has 1.83m mobile users and a 17% market share in Czech Rep.

Cingular announced that its subscriber base now totals more than 50 million, becoming the first U.S. carrier to reach such a milestone.
