CDG reports that the global cdma2000 1xEV-DO subscriber base reached 75m, while cumulative cdma2000 subscriber base surpassed 400m users worldwide.

Taiwan has almost 2.5m 3G subscribers: 1.6m for Chunghwa Telecom, and almost 1m for each Mobile and FarEastone.

Belgium has almost 2.4m broadband connections.

Brazil added some 493k broadband connections to bring the total user base to 6.5m at end-June.

Dominican Republic: the number of mobile subscribers grew by 10% to 5m at the end of 1H07; the

number of fixed lines increased to 904k giving a teledensity of 10% (flat).
