1Q07 NA Capex

A new report, from Ovum-RHK, said that NA mobile capex continued to go up by 2% in the quarter while NA wireline capex was down 9%. In the same period, NA wireline revenues declined 2% to $42.7bn and NA mobile revenues went up 11% to $35.4bn. What is highlighted from these figures, is the steady trend to downsize the capex/ revenue ratio. In one year, the capex /revenue ratio has lost one point in wireline to 14% and 1.3 point to 14.4% in mobile.
