Mobile survey in France

There were 51m mobile users in France at the end of 2006, with a penetration rate of 81%. During 4Q06, growth has been about 4% in subscriptions, or 1.9m new users. Mobile revenues were € 5.2bn, but ARPU remained flat at €37 qoq and decreased 6% yoy. MVNOs accounted for 1.4m users or less than 3% of the subscriber base. 438K MVNO users were added in 4Q06, or 23% of new additions, against 55% in 2Q06.
