The end of a nightmare?

Japan's telecoms ministry has announced that it plans to force all 4G handsets, due around 2010 to use a single connector for charging the handset. Can all regulators, vendors and operators adopt the same strategy; it will be the end of a nightmare within a family with different mobile phones.
