  • According ti Point Topic, the IPTV market is developing well in 2005, with 1.5m subscribers by mid-05 (+40%) and a penetration of 1.5%. More than 75% of IPTV subscribers are in the Europe and APAC regions.

  • Dell'Oro found that the total PBX market grew 8% sequentially to $1.7bn in 3Q05. Hybrid PBX sales grew 18%; IP PBX sales increased 10% and TDM PBX sales declined.

  • According to Nokia, mobile phones volume could grow more than 10% in 2006, from the 780m units it estimates for 2005.
