DoCoMo plans to develop I-mode Internet by making strategic investment in a China based cellular operator.

BskyB, a satellite broadcaster, is planning to acquire Easynet to enter the highly competitive telecom market in the UK, for abouy $272m.

T-Mobile Austria announced it will introduce an HSDPA-enabled data card in Nov. 2005, and launched commercial service at CeBIT 2006.

Bouygues Telecom is opening its i-mode broadband service from the end of the month. It will cost about € 10.

Orange and Bouygues Telecom are beginning testing Digital Video Broadcast Handheld, or DVB-H- based mobile television service in France.

Teliasonera always keen to sell its stake in Spanish Xfera telco. Xfera has a 3G license in Spain.
