Telkom Austria reports 2006 revenues of €4.8bn, up 9%, operating income of €772m, up 25%, EBITDA of €1.9bn, up 8.4%, and net income of €562m, up 37%. Capex grew 59% to €997m, including €320m for the 3G license in Serbia.
France Telecom reports 2006 net profit down 27% to €4.1bn, on revenues of €51.7bn, up 7.5% as reported and above 1% as organic. Results are in line with latest forecasts.
PLDT (Philippines) announced 2006 net income of $716m, up 3%, on revenues of $2.6bn, up 3%. EBITDA improved by 3% to $1.6bn.
TIM Brazil posts 4Q06 net income of $37m, vs a loss of $54m last year, on revenues of $1.4bn, up 21%. EBITDA rose 45% to $373m. For the year, it posted revenues of $4.7bn, up 21%, and narrowed net loss to $ 141m, vs loss of $462m in 2005.
