ð      Asia telecom carrier capex is expected to grow 3% this year to $54bn, according to Infonetics.

ð      Informa believes worldwide mobile subscriber base will reach 2.14 bn by year-end.

ð      Bulgaria could invest $2bn over the next five years to modernize and upgrade the networks.

ð      GSM subscribers reached 1.36bn at the end of April, according to GSA.

ð      The enterprise Wireless LAN (WLAN) market declined 6% in 1Q05, according to DellOro.

ð      DellOro found that the 10Gbit/s router market grew at a robust rate (+9%) to reach $420m.

     IDC announced the worldwide application management (AM) services market reached $17.9bn in 2004, and could reach $27bn by 2009.
