A few set of market information released this week:

ABI Research predicts 54m CDMA EV-DO Rev. A subscribers and 25m CDMA EV-DO Rev. B subscribers by 2013.
According to In-Stat, worldwide base station shipments are slowing despite 3G deployments and large Chinese and Indian GSM markets.
ABI said the mobile handset is still on track to ship 1.3bn units in 2008, up 13%.
In-Stat forecasts that almost 1bn WiFi-enabled devices would be shipped by 2012.
Researchers are developing the next generation of wireless communications technology (an optical communication technology)based on visible light instead of radio waves. Advantages: faster and more secure.
Juniper Research found that consumer spending on mobile broadcast TV would reach $2.7bn by 2013.
According to ROA Group, the number of mobile users in Japan would increase to 121m by 2011.
