Telemig (Brazil) ended the quarter with 2.9m mobile users, up 19%.
Telecom Argentina mobile subsidiary, Telecom Personal, had 4.2m mobile subscribers (+48%), while its main competitor Movistar (Telefonica Moviles) had 6m users.
Bharti (India) had some 10m mobile users.
T-Online added 581,000 new broadband lines bringing its total to 6.4m. T-online currently has 13.6m subscribers.
T-Mobile USA currently has some 18.3m mobile users.
Swisscom said it had almost 4m mobile subscribers as of March 05.
Telefonica Moviles reported over 81.4m mobile users worldwide (+ 3m lines in the quarter) and up 50%, of which 19m in Spain (+100k), and 59m in LATAM (up 84%). It has more than 6m users in Mexico (up 61%), adding 422k new users in the quarter.
Japan: Vodafone KK lost 40k subscribers in April, while DoCoMo gained 250k and KDDi gained 238k.In 3G, DoCoMo added 739k new FOMA users, KDDI added 313k new CDMA 2000 users, and Vofafone KK added 141k new users.
Terra Networks (Spain) has 1.1m broadband users (up 58%) and 6.8m internet users (up 28%).
Pakistan had 10.5m mobile users at the end of April.
Ukraine: mobile subscriber number rose 21% to 16.6m in the quarter. UMC and Kyivstar dominate the market with about 8.2m subscribers each or a combined 99% market share.
