Bouygues Telecom (France) had 8.2m mobile subscribers at the end of March.

Swisscom had 4.4m mobile users; 1.2m broadband subscribers.

MTS (Russia) said it reached 62m mobile subscribers as of April 06, of which 46.4m in Russia, 14.6m in Ukraine.

Vodacom (South Africa) passed 20m mobile subscriber mark vs 17.6m at the end of 2005.

Japan: there were 92.3 m mobile subscribers at the end of April .

PLDT (Philippines) had 20.9m mobile subscribers at the end of March.

Telefonica reported 184m customers as of March 31, of which 131.5m are mobile users (almost 74m in Latam, 20m in Spain, 33m in Europe outside Spain), 6.3m are broadband fixed internet users.
