China Mobile reported 1Q06 revenues up 19% to $8.1bn, net profit of $1.8bn and an EBITDA up 21% to $4.5bn. EBITDA margin rose to 55%.

Bellsouth announced a 26% fall in 1Q06 net income to $784m, while sales remained almost flat at $5.2bn. Excluding a gain of $390m in 2005 for the sale of some Latam assets, 1Q06 net income should have been up 17%. Including Cingular results, Bellsouth reported revenues at $8.7bn, up 5% and net income at $983m, up 20%.

Mobistar (Belgium) posted a 8% rise in 1Q06 revenues to €364m. Its ARPU was €38.6, up 5%.

EarthLink (USA) said its net income fell 51% to $16m on revenues declining 8% to $310m.

China Netcom reported 1Q06 revenues of $2.7bn, up 5%.

Google reports a 79% growth in 1Q06 revenues to $2.2bn, an operating income of $743m (+30%) and a net profit of $592m, up 59%.

Etisalat (UAE) announced a 1Q06 net income of $364m (+31%), and an operating profit of $331m.
