Algeria reached 12m mobile subscribers at the end of Oct.05.

South Korea currently has 37m mobile subscribers, up 7%, and 11,3m broadband internet users.

MTN (S. Africa) had a subscriber base of 20,6m at the end of Sept.05.

Indian subscriber numbers should hit 74m by the end of this year (of which 57m GSM).

Telkomsel (Indonesia reports 23,4m mobile subscriber base (up 74%) and targets 25m by the end of the year.

Nigeria had 13,5m mobile subscribers by the end of June 05.
