Orascom (Egypt) reports 9-month net profit of $500m (+75%), while revenues rose 63% to $2,5bn.

Rostelecom (Russia) announced 1H net profit of $98m (+17%).

PT Telkom (Indonesia) posts 20% growth in operating income to $3bn in the first 9-months of 2005, but recorded a higher increase in expenses, leading to lower profit.

MTN (S. Africa) reported FY1H05 (ended in Sept.) revenues of €2.2bn (+25%), EBITDA of €904m (+28%) and net income of €565m (+31%).

Maxis (Malaysia) announced 9-month pre-tax profit of $497m (+6%), an EBITDA of $703m (+10%) and revenues of $1,24bn, up12% and net profit of $328m, up 1%.
