Vodafone 3G subscriber base was 4,9m at the end of Sept.05.

Telecom Argentina announced 5,3m mobile subscribers (of which 51% are GSM), 3,6m fixed line users and 188,000 broadband subscribers.

Digicel (Jamaica) announced 1,4m mobile subscribers.

Virgin Mobile (UK) had 4,2m mobile subscribers at the end of Sept.05.

Vimpelcom (Russia) currently has 42,5m mobile subscribers.

Telenor' s ADSL customer base as of Sept.05 was 444,000.
