Vodafone and America Movil have inked an international roaming agreement that covers 13 countries in Latin America.

KT (Korea) targets launching mobile WiMAX (WiBRO) in Korea in June 2006. A demonstration will be provided to delegates of the WiMAX Forum, this week.

PLDT (Philippines) will operate a MVNO service in Singapore on the MobileOne (M1) network.

Telstra will not deploy a 3G network in New Zealand.

SFR (France) announced it currently has 515k 3G subscribers and achieved in end of October its year-end target. Orange (France) claims it had 420k 3G users at the end of Sept. and will reach its goal of 500k by the end of the year.

Alltel (US) is purchasing rural cellular operator Midwest Wireless for $1bn.
