According to CSFB, in the US, cable companies added a net 1m broadband customers in 3Q05, while telcos added 1.3m new users.
According to IDC, the IMS market will become a $14bn market by 2010.
According to a Jupiter Research, the number of US resident VoIP subscribers will grow to 20.4m by 2010 from 1.2m in 2004.
In-Stat reports that the IP/DSL set top box market is and would be boosted by Telco IPTV deployments. The market would grow from 1.7m in 2004 to 16.9m in 2009.
