Nokia is joining the Eclipse Foundation as a strategic Developer and board member. Nokia will lead a project to create a framework for mobile Java developer tools, including complete tooling support for J2ME, or Java 2 Micro Edition. Eclipse is an open source community whose projects are focused on providing an extensible development platform and application frameworks for building software.
