Spain added 516k new mobile subscribers in March, bringing its total to 47.5m.

Nextel International (NII) targets 43m PTT users in LATAM.

Bharti Airtel (India) added 5.3m mobile subscribers in 1Q07, to a total of 37.1m.

Claro (Brazil) reported 24.6m mobile subscribers (+21%) at the end of March.

Iusacell (Mexico) said it had 2.2m subscribers on March 31.

Globe Telecom (Philippines) reports 15.7m mobile subscribers at the end of 2006.

Virgin Mobile currently has about 4.9m customers
