Alcatel-Lucent won a $110m contract to build a CDMA2000 1x EV-DO Revision A network in the 700 MHz band in Washington DC for public safety.

Siemens also claims a share in Telenor Pakistan' s GSM radio network expansion. The combined (Nokia + Siemens) value of the contract is about $750m.

Ericsson has deployed a new GSM/GPRS access network for Telefonica Movistar Peru.

Huawei has delivered a CDMA2000 EV-DO network in the capital city, Kigali, Rwanda.

Nokia has received a WCDMA order from Romania' RCS & RDS.
