A few set of market information released this week:

According to China International Capital Corporation (CICC), China would invest $2.6bn this year in TD-SCDMA investments, of which 50% to be used for equipment.
According to Dell'Oro, WCDMA will enjoy “exceptional” growth over the next several years, at the expense of CDMA technology.
ABI Research forecasts 267m residential VOIP subscribers by 2012, vs 38m in 2006.
Juniper Research predicts that mobile entertainment (including music, games, TV, sports and infotainment, gambling and adult content) would reach $76bn by 2011, from $17bn in 2006.
Ericsson estimates that at the end of 2006 there were 250m fixed broadband connections in the world and penetration reached 5%.
According to Norson Telecom, China' s GPS mobile phone users would reach 7.6m in 2008, from 3.5m wireless navigation users in 2006.
Dell'Oro forecasts that Ethernet Switch market revenues would grow steadily and exceed $19bn in 2011.
