According to ARCEP, 3Q06 communications services amounted to €10bn, of which 55% in Internet, 45% in telephony. Internet accesses were 14.7m, of which 75% were broadband (11.8m). VOIP accounted for about 15% of subscriptions and 19% of fixed line traffic. The mobile market had almost 50m subscribers, up 8%, and generated €4.3bn in revenues. Average monthly bill amounted to €29, down almost 2%.
