European regulator? - 25/06/05

Europe is real. Not only the Commission is writing directives to co-ordinate various aspects of telecom services, but now unions are asking for a European regulator. The Post & Telecom branch of EUROFEDOP, the international federation of Public Services people, is asking the European Parliament the creation of a Telecom regulation committee (CEREST) in charge of co-ordination and monitoring of employment policies, telecom outsourcing in European countries and economical impact of national regulator decisions.
