China 3G standard disappoints in test:

Local press said TD-SCDMA had problems supporting 3G value-added applications, such as multimedia messages, making video calls, and downloading and playing video clips. It seems the issue is coming from the performance of the chipsets within the TD-SCDMA handsets.

Those problems are likely to delay again licenses for 3G technology.
