A few set of market information released this week:

• According to Nokia, there should be 3bn mobile subscribers in 2007, one year earlier than previously forecast. Growth should be 10% on average, with a peak of 15% in APAC and Africa.

• Juniper Research forecast that the total global mobile entertainment market (including gambling, adult content, mobile games, mobile music, mobile TV and infotainment) would grow to $47bn by 2009 from currentl $17bn.

• According to ABI Research, GPS-based personal locator services on mobile phones would grow to 20m in NA in 2011 from current 500k, to 34m in APAC in 2011.

• Berg Insight forecast that 60% of WCDMA handset shipped worldwide will have integrated GPS/Galileo receivers by 2010.
