Fujitsu and BTI announced an OEM agreement, adding BTI Netstender (to be known as the Fujitsu FLASHWAVE 7120 Optical Extension System) in Fujitsu portfolio. Fujitsu made another OEM agreement with Hammerhead Systems to incorporate Ethernet Aggregation, Packet-Enabled Access and Pseudowire Termination in the new FLASHWAVE 6400 Switch. It also announced enhanced features (RPR Technology and both SFP and CWDM Interface) to its FLASHWAVE 4100 MSPP.
MRV is introducing OptiSwitch 9000 Metro Ethernet platforms that aggregate Gigabit Ethernet links, provision enhanced Ethernet/IP/MPLS services, and provide WDM long distance transport.
