Rogers Comm. (Canada) had 6.5m mobile subscribers (up 3%)qoq, 1.25m broadband internet connections, 2.3m basic video subscriptions and 1.1m digital cable subscribers.

MTS (Belarus) reported 2.6m users as of July 1.

Entel PCS (Chile) announced 4.8m mobile subscribers at the end of Sept.

Hutchison Telecom reported 26.5m subscribers, of which 20.4m in Essar India.

MTN (South Africa) had 35m (+37%) subscribers at the end of September.
