O2 Germany is planning to enter the DSL market, offering converged mobile, DSL landline and internet services.

Telkom Kenia could become a mobile operator, when a full operating concession to cover wireline, wireless and data services is granted to it. Telkom 's mobile unit is currently managed by Vodafone (40% stake). Telkom and Econet could join two current mobile operators Safaricom and Celtel.
