SUN Microsystems is buying Storage Technology in a $4.1bn deal.

Ericsson has sold its stake in Anoto Group (a digital pen company) to Norden Technology.

Huawei targets to expand beyond telecom equipment and become a technical aggregator for network operations. The company has already taken steps to move in that direction, and is reorganizing its Service and Software Product division around integrated teams that can develop customized, centralized solutions.
