Vimplecom subscriber base rose 129% to 30.7m, adding some 4m new subscribers in 1Q05. Churn decreased to 5.9%.
PT Telkomsel (Indonesia) added 4m new subscribers in 1Q05 to reach total 20m subscribers.
Orange (France) announced it has gained some 83,500 3G subscribers in three months. 70% are consumers and 30% businesses.
SFR (France) also announced 100,000 3G subscribers, of which 90% are consumers.
Nigeria got an 8.6m mobile subscriber base by the end of 2004, and is expected to reach over 23 m subscribers by the year 2007.
NA cable broadband subscriber base reached 25m, and 1m IP telephony subscribers.
TMN (Portugal) has 5+m mobile subscribers, or a 50% market share.
TIM (Italy) currently had 26.2m mobile subscribers in Italy at the end of March.
Poland: at the end of 2004, Poland had 670k ADSL subscribers and 60k cablemodem users.
Mobiltel (Bulgaria) has about 3.15m mobile subscribers.
Wataniya Telecom has 3 m mobile subscribers in Kuwait.
SK Telecom (Korea) said it gained 75,800 net subscribers in the month of May, bringing its total to 19.1m.
