3G:
According to Telegeography, 3G accounted for less than 30m users in 2004, and should be over 60m in 2005.But in fact, 3G will only account for a tiny percentage of wireless users for a while. In early-adopter countries (Japan, S th Korea), penetration is in 10%-15% range. In more recently-installed 3G countries (UK, Italy), penetration only reaches 3%-5%.
