Photo messaging currently concerns about 7% of US mobile users (or 13m users).

IDC found that US wireless subscriber paid downloads in 4Q04 reached 100m units and $250m in revenues.
About 6.8m Symbian-enabled phones were shipped in 1Q05, up 180%. Today there are about 48 different phones equipped with Symbian OS, of which 12 for 3G service.
US FTTx connections are growing. 398 communities in 43 states can now offer fiber connectivity. More than 1.6m households are passed, but only 198k have subscribed so far. That gives a low take rate, far behind the commonly agreed break even take rate of 30-35%. In Japan, 2.3m households are connected and about 550k in Europe.
