Telemar (Brazil) currently has 22.4m subscribers, of which 15.1m were fixed line and 7.3m were mobile, and 554k for its Velox broadband Internet service.  

Qwest has 743,000 subscribers.

TDC (Denmark) currently has 13.6m users worldwide.

Iliad (France) increased its number of ADSL subscribers to 1,214,000 in March, up 18% over the quarter.

PilTel (Indonesia) has 45.5k fixed-line subscribers, and 4.7m mobile subscribers as of March05.

Smart (Indonesia) announced 15.3m mobile subscribers as of March 05.

MTS (in Belarus) increased its subscriber base to 1.45m as of May 1.

Telefonica Moviles had 5.6m mobile subscribers in Mexico at the end f the year 2004.

America Movile had 66.3m mobile subscribers, of which more than 30m in Mexico.
