France Telecom posted 1Q05 revenues of €11.6bn, up 3.5%, a gross margin of 38%.

Nextel (US) reported 16% growth in 1Q05 revenues to $3.6bn and net income of $589m, almost flat.

KDDI (Japan) has reported record FY2004 earnings of $ 1.9bn, up 71%, and an operating profit of $ 2.8bn, up 1.4%.

Covad (US) announced 1Q05 revenues of $ 108m (down 1%), and a net income of $34m.

China Unicom posted 1Q05 revenues of $2.52bn, up 7%, and net profit of $ 128m, down 36%. EBITDA for the quarter was $ 830m and margin was 33%.

Telesp (Brazil) posted a net loss of $39m in 1Q05, on revenues of $665m, down 2.5%. EBITDA was up 10% to $267m.

TeleLeste Cellular (Brazil) reported IQ05 sales at $46m (+16%), EBITDA of $ 12.9m (+20%), and a net loss of $ 2.1m.

Tele Sudeste Cellular (Brazil) posted revenues of $ 171.5m in 1Q05 (+6%), an EBITDA of $55m (down 10%) and a net result of $14.7m (up 8%).

TeleCentro Oeste Cellular (Brazil) reported 1Q05 sales of $188.5m (up 13%), an EBITDA of $80m (+14%) and net result of $ 44m (up 22%).

Celular CRT (Brazil) posted 1Q05 sales of $104m (up 6.5%), an EBITDA of $ 41m (down 14%) and a net income of $ 16.6m (down 28%).

Bharti (India) announced 1Q05 revenues of $533m (+49%), an EBITDA of $ 207m, and a net income of $100m (+44%). For the FY05, Bharti reported sales of $1.85bn (+61%) and net income of $331m (+132%).

Chunghwa Telecom reports 1Q05 sales of $1.44bn (down 2%), and a net income of $ 392m.

Kyrgyztelecom reports net profit of $ 7m, up 185%.
