IP set top boxes are the main revenue segment with a share of 42% of all IPTV equipment revenues, and their sales would nearly double every year for the next 3 years. Simultaneously, the IPTV service market would generate $38bn in revenues in 2009, addressing some 53m users worldwide. EMEA is the leading region for IPTV services, accounting for 48% of the worldwide total. NA IPTV subscriber number will increase more than 40-fold between 2005 and 2009.
