A few set of market information released this week:

• According to iSupply, the mobile handset market is assessed to reach 932m units shipped (+14%) this year. On the same subject, CBC World Markets predicts a 970m units shipped in 2006 (+50m units than previous forecast), and Nokia expected 915m units.

• According to Telegeography, 5.4m US households are using VOIP and that figure should grow to 21m in 2010.

• GFK reports that in France Samsung leads the mobile handset market with some 23% market share, ahead of Nokia with 21.5% and Sagem with 18%.

• XiTi estimates that 20% of Europeans are using Firefox navigator.

• According to the French regulator, there are currently 9 MVNOs in France.
