A few set of market information released this week:

• According to NDP Group, mobile video watching has a long way to go before becoming a mass practice among mobile phone users. Only 28% of all mobile phones in use are capable of playing digital video, and only 1% of subscribers currently did so;

• According to Informa, fixed-mobile convergence services would reach $28bn in revenues by 2011 and address 92m subscribers at that time.

• In-Stat forecasts some 89m DSLAM ports by 2010, from 76m in 2005. Alcatel was the market leader in 2005 with 28.5% market share.

• Infotech found that 3/4 of the US decision makers and around 90% of the EMEA decision makers say that by 2009, they will have a dual mode phone (cellular/VoWAN).
