A few set of market information released this week:

• According to Integrated Research, 80% of businesses could soon adopt VOIP.

• Juniper Research unveiled that VoIP growth will be driven by the replacement market, cheaper call costs, improved business productivity with multi service integration and some huge potential markets such as China. VOIP in the business sector could reach $18bn by 2010.

• According to KPMG, almost 40% of North Americans would not pay a premium charge for converged services. Only 20% said they would be willing to spend only 10% more for premium services.

• According to Insight Research, 1/3 of the total telecom spending incurred by US businesses in 2005 were mobile telecom services.

• Recent iLocus report gives international VoIP minutes worldwide in 4Q05 reached 17.8bn minutes, while national VoIP minutes were 113.7bn.

• Detecon International forecasts that the German IT market could grow by 4% to €65bn, and the telecom market grow by 2% to €65bn.

• Infonetics Research found that mobile operators would spend $4.1bn (+41%) on mobile broadband (WCDMA, WIFI, WiMAX) and would move fast to NG mobile.

• New transmission speed record at 320 Gbit/s on optical fiber, reached by the German Fraunhofer Institute.

• According to both OVUM and Yankee, the MVNO market in the U.S. should be worth about$10bn by 2010 with 25-30m customers.
