Telecom Egypt posted 2005 net profit of $320m (up 82%) on revenues up 8% to $14.2bn.
Echostar reported 4Q05 net earnings of $133m (+90%) on revenues of $2.2bn, up 16%.
Global Crossing reports 4Q05 wider loss of $79m (vs loss of $27m) on lower revenues of $462m (down 20%).
China Mobile announced 2005 net profit of $6.6bn (up 28%) on revenues of $30bn (up 26%). EBITDA rose 25% to $16.5bn. The company now operates 31 provincial networks in China. ARPU has been almost stabilized at $11.1, thanks to SMS and non-voice revenues. 2006 capex shound rise 17% to $10.3bn.
Telemig (Brazil) reports 4Q05 net profit of $19m (+27%), on revenues of $144m (+6%). In 2005, net profit was $81m (+9%) and revenues of $544m (down 25%) while EBITDA went down 10% to $204m.
