• According to Kinetics, worldwide shipments of cable modems climbed 26% to 22.4m units in 2005, of which almost 15.8m for DOCSIS modems (down 2%) , and 6.6m units for multimedia modems (up 282%).

• Nokia believes that television on mobile phones would reach the masses by 2008.
