2005 optical market grew 19% to $10,7bn, while the metro market (70% of the total) increased 15% and the long-haul market (30% of the total) grew 32%. WDM sales account for 32% of the total and SDH/Sonet for 68%. North America accounted for 32% of total optical network hardware revenue, EMEA for 33%, Asia Pacific 29%, and CALA 6% in 2005. Those figures are coherent with previous estimates.
