Qwest reported 4Q05 loss of $528m (vs loss of $139m) on revenues of $3.5bn (almost flat). For the year, Qwest posted revenues of $13.9bn (flat) with narrowing loss to $779m (vs loss of $1.8bn).

Vimpelcom (Russia) posted revenues of $3.2bn in 2005, up 49%, an OIBDA margin of 49%, up 1,2 point.

Covad (USA) announced 4Q05 revenues of $114m, up 6%, and a net loss of $18m, vs loss of $26m last year.

Tele2' s net profit fell 79% to $33m, EBITDA declined 10% to $203m while sales rose 28% to $1.76bn.
